01 / Challenge
The operations team relied on spreadsheets, phone calls, and separate carrier portals to track shipments. This made it difficult to identify delays early or understand the overall delivery status.
02 / Our approach
We created a centralized logistics control tower that combines carrier updates, shipment events, exception handling, and operational insights into one workspace for the entire team.
03 / UX / UI
The interface was designed for high-frequency operational use, prioritizing shipment status, exceptions, alerts, and actionable information over unnecessary visual elements.
04 / Technology architecture
Kafka processes incoming carrier events while Go normalizes different tracking formats into a unified shipment model. Next.js powers the operations dashboard with real-time updates and responsive data views.
05 / Development
The platform was developed through phased carrier integrations, allowing the operations team to start using core tracking and exception workflows while additional integrations were progressively added.

“The control tower gave our operations team a single source of truth for shipments. We can now identify exceptions much earlier and manage daily deliveries from one platform.”
